Website Design Terms and Conditions

42WebDesign.co.uk will produce and publish a temporary website for The Client's approval. The design proof will temporarily be hosted on our [42WebDesign.co.uk] website. While this tempory website is online the copyright and use of the website will be limited to 42WebDesign.co.uk. Use of this temporary website in any respect without the permission of 42WebDesign.co.uk will constitute breach of copyright.
If hosting is not required, 42WebDesign.co.uk will release full website code and graphics when payment of the final invoice for the outstanding quotation value is received in full.
Modifications to the design specification will be considered an amendment to the contract. All modifications to the website will be require a re-quote and written confirmation.

Website Content

Unless piror agreed, the Client will provide the images and the text for the website's content. If the client provides any images which are not original then it is presumed that the client has received permission from the copyright owners to use the image on the website.
Client supplied Logo's, literature, artwork and photo's will remain the copyright of the client. The website will remain the copyright of 42WebDesign.co.uk until the final outstanding invoice has been paid.

Website Hosting

Website hosting is provided by a reliable third party through 42WebDesign.co.uk. The hosting access is provided on an 'as-is, as-available' basis. The client acknowledges that the need for routine maintenance and error correction may result in down time and that 42WebDesign.co.uk cannot control the timing or volume of attempts to access the client’s server.

Domain Names

Domian names will be provided by a reliable third party. This can be through 42WebDesign.co.uk or registered in the client's name. Registration of domain names is for two years unless otherwise agreed. Although we will do our best to renew the registration for you, it is ultimately your responsibility to make sure this happens so please keep a note of the date.

Monthly Updates

Monthly website updates are available at a negotiated cost. These website updates are described as Small HTML changes. Small HTML changes consist of any alterations to text, for example a change of contact email address or telephone number. Any changes to the websites appearance or structure are not covered and will require a surcharge. Updates are allowed on a monthly basis.
